Easter, 6 Months Old and More...

This weekend we went out to Paradise to eliminate the Nascar Race Weekend at the Speedway.  We were going to try and take picture of Brynlee in the bluebonnets but due to all of the rain, we had a change of plans.  Instead the weekend was spent with a day of relaxing on Saturday and church on Sunday.  Brynlee is doing such a great job of sitting up by herself and will even stand up by herself for short periods of time.

This year was Brynlee's First Easter.  We went back home to my parents and grandparents to have a day of family fun.  After church we went to Papa's and Mama's for lunch and a mini Easter Egg Hunt for Brynlee.  She even had a personalized Easter Basket to put all of her eggs in with the help of her dad of course!

My mom, Brynlee and I went shopping and I bought Brynlee her 1st pair of sunglasses since she is always trying to pull Travis's off.  She just smiled and smiled when I put them on her.  Maybe the sun will actually shine soon and she can wear them outside instead of just in the house.

Brynlee also turned 6 Months on March 22nd.  At her check up she weighed 18 pounds and 7.5 ounces and was 27 inches tall (about 80% percentile).  She also got another round of shots and did well, despite the inital shock of them at first. 

She is at such a fun stage right now and has quite the personality!   She is able to get up on all fours and rocks back and forth.  I don't think it will be long before she gets to crawling.  She has also started to try and pull up to the couch.  I found her the other day in the living room with both hands on the couch cushion and legs attempting to stand up.   She also likes to play with her basketball game and anytime the camera is around, she begins to pose! 

 

In the past month, Brynlee also had her Baby Dedication Day at church and of course we had to get a picture of her all dressed up.

Brynlee is growing up so fast and on Thursday of this coming week she will be 7 months old.  I can't believe how fast it has flown by.   Can't wait to post pictures of Brynlee in her cute tutu outfit she just got!
