Happy 1st Birthday Brynlee!

On September 22nd, Brynlee turned 1!  It is hard to believe how fast our little baby is growing up to a big girl!

Here are 12 Interesting Facts about Brynlee:

1. She weighed 23 pounds and 6 1/2 ounces at her 12 Month Check-Up
2. She is 31 inches tall.
3. She wears Size 12 Months Clothes and anywhere from a Size 4 1/2- 5 in Shoes.
4. She loves running around the house trying to hide from Travis and I.
5. She loves to play peek-a-boo.
6. Her new phrase to say is "gotcha gotcha gotcha", kind of sounds like she is speaking Chinese.
7. She now has 10 teeth, including her 4 front top and bottom teeth and both of her bottom 12 month molars.
8. She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses!
9. She LOVES clothes, especially carrying them around the house on a hanger.
10. She is now on Lactose Free Milk.  She has somewhat of a lactose intolerance, but can eat pudding, yogurt and cheese without any problems.  Hopefully, we will be able to transition her to regular whole milk shortly.
11. She still eats 3rd Food Baby Foods, but is getting better at eating whole foods like mashed potatoes, peas, crackers and cheese.
12. She is extremely active and is into everything at the house.  Cleaning out the kitchen cabinet and climbing into chairs are some of her favorite pastimes besides playing with her dolls and books.

On September 25th, we celebrated Brynlee's 1st Birthday with a party at our house.  Here are some pictures from Brynlee's Special Day!

Opening presents...it took forever but she had fun opening all of them and seeing what was inside!

Money!    She tried giving it away, but we put in her piggy bank instead! Thank you Mama and Papa!

After opening presents, we went outside on the back porch and played with bubbles with her cousins, Danae, Dustin, Trevor and Ryan.

Finally, it was time for cake! 

Brynlee had her own cupcake to eat!  It took her a while, but she had fun playing with the cake and icing, even though she was quite dainty.  The icing on her face is mainly from Travis smearing it on her.

All in all, the birthday party was a success!  Thanks to everyone who came and for all of the great gifts for Brynlee.  She has had so much fun reading her new books, carrying around her new clothes and playing with all of the other toys she received.  Also, thanks to the photographers (Grampa and Aunt Jen) for capturing such great pictures of Brynlee's special day!
