Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of Brynlee at Thanksgiving. For some of you that don't know, I had hand surgery the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The surgeon went in to remove a cyst and turned out to be more like reconstructive surgery on my right thumb. He removed a tumor, inserted a permanent anchor into my bone connecting the ligament/tendon and I currently have a metal pin sticking out of my thumb holding my bone in place. I am doing much better than I was as far as getting used to not using my right hand with teaching and having a very active 14 month old. I got the stitches out this week and on the 21st I get the pin out and will eventually start therapy. So it has been needless to say an interesting couple of weeks around the Hamby Household.
However, Travis and I did get the chance to take Brynlee last Saturday night to the Holiday Parade in Justin. She had fun watching the floats and trying to pick up all of the candy.
Finally, here is the latest of Brynlee from church last Sunday. She has quite the personality and is tons of fun! I can hardly believe she is almost 15 months old!
Sorry to hear about your thumb surgery, Jana. I don't know how you have managed to cope. I hope therapy goes really well and you are back to normal quickly. And, you don't have to reply...typing must be especially hard!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lyndy! Hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas!
