1 Month Old

On December 23rd, Bryleigh turned 1 Month Old.  She weighed 10 pounds 7 ounces and was 22 inches long.  She has been a great little girl and I think has already learned to just go with the flow.  At about 4 weeks, she was drinking 3 ounces of Similac Sensitive (Lactose-Free) formula every 3 or so hours, including during the night.  This is the formula of choice now after going from Similac Advanced, Similac Sensitive, Similac Isomil Soy, then back to Similac Sensitive.  We also had to go to the doctor and was put on her first round of antibiotics due to sinus type infection from her big sister! She is now 6 weeks and is drinking 4 ounces every 3 or so hours during the day and can sleep 4-5 hours straight at night.  Also around 4 weeks, she began trying to lift her head up and try standing up on our laps.  Two weeks later, she is constantly trying to do this as well as become much more active on her play mat and more alert, wide-eyed.  These pictures are around the time she was 3-4 weeks old.
