Colorado Vacation

On the morning after Christmas, we left for our Colorado Vacation.  My parents, brother, sister-in-law, Travis, Brynlee and I flew to Denver, Colorado.  This was Brynlee's first time to fly and she did great!  As you can tell, she basically slept the most of the flight which took about 3 hours since we had a stop in Oklahoma City.

When we got to Denver, we rented a Dodge Caravan and made the drive to Breckenridge.  We had so many bags, we barely had room to sit in it.  But somehome we made it work!

We stayed at a condo in Breckenridge and skied two days there.  We were lucky to have such great weather for skiing.

If you can see it, this sign says "Expert Terrain Only". Jennifer and I were so proud of ourselves as we rode the T-Bar up along with the guys to the very top of the mountain (well it was almost the very top of the mountain, put it this way...we were above the tree line about 12, 000 feet) to ski down this "Black Diamond" Run.

We also spent a day in Keystone.  This was Brynlee's first trip to the top of the mountain as we all rode the Gondola.  She was wrapped in so many layers of clothing that all she did was sleep most of the time.  Luckily we took lots of pictures so we will be able to tell her about it when she's older.

This is the view of ski slopes of Breckenridge from the Keystone Gondola ride.

And here is our little snow bunny!  Brynlee did so great on this vacation.  You know us, we are already planning the next ski vacation and trying to decide if she will learn to ski or snowboard first.

Thanks to Jennifer and my dad for most of these pictures.  For more tales of the trip, visit Jennifer's blog at http://www.nbmartins.blogspot.com/ to read how eventful the trip back was for us!
