Spring Break Fun

This past week I was out of school for Spring Break.  We had a great week, especially since we didn't really have too much to get accomplished.  Monday after my dentist appointment in Decatur, we went and shopped at Sunshine Square.  I got Brynlee her 1st pair of Wee Squeak Sandals.  If you are unfamiliar with what these are, they are sandals that squeak every time she moves.  Brynlee loves them!  She is always wanting to wear them and loves to walk, run, attempt to jump and stomp with them on.  I can see maybe tap dance in her future.  It is quite hilarious.  I am pretty sure though I will have to remove the squeaks when she wears them to church.  (I will try and post a video of it)

Tuesday, my mom, Brynlee and I went shopping.   I had a lot of Christmas money in my wallet to burn, but sadly I couldn't find much so the rest went to buying Brynlee clothes, bed rails for her big girl bed and a potty chair.  Wednesday and Thursday were our relaxing days.   Brynlee loves to play in her room.  Her latest thing is to lay a blanket down in her floor get some pillows, which she calls "pies", and read books to her babies.  She also loves shoes and will always tell us when we have "socks" and "shoes" on.  She even likes to wear ours.  And she loves snack time and will come and tell you when it is time for "snack".  Her favorite snacks are "cheetos".  

On Friday, Travis and I took Brynlee to the Fort Worth Zoo for the 1st time. We had a great time. I didn't know what to expect with Brynlee and all of the animals. However, she did great. She loved the monkeys, the ducks, the lions, the fish and even the snakes. She now is hooked on the word duck and could spot them anywhere. Here are some pictures from our visit.

I can't wait for this summer to take her again!  All in all we had a great Spring Break!  On Tuesday, Brynlee turns 18 months old and we go to the doctor for her 18 Month Check-Up.  It is hard to believe how fast she is growing up and how she is becoming such a big girl.
