Animal Adventures

This past week, Brynlee went on two big animal adventures.  On Wednesday, mom and I took Brynlee to the Dallas World Aquarium.  If you have never been, it is really more like a 3-story indoor rain forest/zoo.  They have all kinds of animals and you can get super close to them.

After you walk down the 3-story rain forest path, you enter into the aquarium area.  They have tons of tanks of fish from all over the world as well as tunnels you can walk through.

Brynlee had a pretty good time, but wanted to take it all in from her comfy stroller seat!

When the animals got too close, or she was ready to move on to the next exhibit, she would put the program over her face to let us know it was time to move on.  It was quite hilarious....she really read that program cover to cover!

Brynlee liked the shark tunnel the best!  We even had to visit that area twice...and all she has talked about since we got home was the sharks!!!

On Saturday, my parents, Travis, Brynlee and I went to the Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus at the American Airlines Center.  I was a little nervous how Brynlee would respond to so many people, the loud music, fireworks, clowns, etc.  But she did great!  The show had a very cultural-based theme.  The acts and performers were from all over the world and represented so many different countries and talents.  However, we all thought it was pretty funny that since it was in Dallas, they also included goats, donkeys and a longhorn in the show.  Overall, it was a great show and we had a great time.  Brynlee's favorite part of course were the tigers and elephants.  She has talked about them non-stop and always wants to look at the pictures on the computer.
