Around the end of April, Bryleigh turned 5 Months Old and Brynlee turned 31 Months Old.
Bryleigh is for sure, our chunky little girl! We had to go to the doctor on Friday (which she was almost 5 1/2 months) and she weighed 19 pounds, 15 ounces and was 27 1/2 inches long. She is about the same size Brynlee was at 7-8 Months! However, bless her heart she has had a time with sickness. She has another left ear infection and was given a new antibiotic to hopefully fix that. She received a breathing treatment in office and were sent home with a nebulizer to do breathing treatments every 4-6 hours. And it that is not enough, she is also having quite a time spitting/throwing up. She may have a rice allergy/intolerance to her formula and rice cereal and/or reflux issues. We have switched to oatmeal and will be switching formulas once again once ear infection is better. Although on top of all of that, she has always maintained a happy attitude. Bryleigh now enjoys sitting up by herself, putting her toes in her mouth, playing in the floor and exersaucer, rolling around all around the floor, but most of all watching Brynlee and pulling her hair! She wears size 6/9 month clothes and even some 12 month items of Brynlee's.
Brynlee is almost 3, can you believe it? Sometimes I think she is going on 8. She also had an appointment at the doctor on Friday for another right ear infection. She weighed 30 1/2 pounds and is getting so tall. Brynlee loves all things girly and at the moment is really into Strawberry Shortcake. This week is her last week at school and she has had such a great time in the Ladybug class! At home she loves playing with her sister. And I really mean that, she wants nothing more than Bryleigh to pay attention to her or hold her hand! She also likes to color, play doctor, but most of all wants to always play outside. We bought a new swing set for the backyard and thanks to Travis and Grampa it is now in working condition! She also loves to play hide and seek, though she always gives away her location and likes doing housework. She bring her chair to the kitchen and helps do the dishes and likes to vacuum. But the most exciting part to me, is that she is finally wearing her big girl panties! We have been potty trained for a little over a month now and she is doing great!
We have had a great spring so far and I am only counting down the days until school is out so we can have more fun!
