Bryleigh's biggest milestones now are giving kisses, saying "hi" and sometimes there is a "ma-ma" sound, likes to hear her voices and experiements with various sounds, loves to giggle and daddy makes her do it the best, starts to lift her hands up to have someone pick her up, and then there is this crawling/scooting thing going on. I am in no hurry to have her start crawling, but within the last few weeks she has become interested. She will go from a sitting position, onto all fours and does some rocking back and forth and scooting around, mainly she has the backwards crawl down and can move herself around in circles and around her pallet in the floor. She also does this when she is in her crib. She wakes up many times during her naps and bedtime because she is either on all fours or has made it to the end of the bed (opposite way of how she started) and is stuck on what to do next.
We had to say bye to the nap-nanny a few weeks ago, because she turns herself on her stomach and crawls out the back.
She also loves to look in any mirror at herself.
She likes the exersaucer, but would rather be on the floor hanging out with Brynlee and getting into sister's stuff! Or should I say, Brynlee putting stuff on Bryleigh like her Minnie Mouse ears!
She also loves to play with any toys that makes sound, stackable toys and likes looking at books.
As far as sleeping, well....lets just say she doesn't need much. She goes to bed around 9 pm and is ready to get up about 5:20, sometimes we can get her back down till maybe 6:15 am, but somehow both of our girls are early risers. As far as eating, this girl loves to eat! She eats baby food, three times a day and loves apples, pears, bananas, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, not a big fan of peaches and then also has oatmeal for breakfast and supper. She drinks about 25 ounces of Similac Sensitive for Spit-Up Formula, but sadly still spits up. Hoping when she can have regular milk and gets to crawling, this will stop some.
