Summer Update

It has been a while since my last blog or update on the girls.  Bryleigh is now 19 Months Old and Brynlee is 3 3/4 Years old, just 3 months shy of turning 4!  Both of the girls finished up a great year at Wee School this year.  Bryleigh loved her little Noah's Ark class and making new little friends. Brynlee had a fun-filled year as a Ladybug and learned so much with her group of friends.

Since my school has been out, we have been running like crazy.  The last three weeks have been filled with doctors appointments for all of us, including Bryleigh's check-ups, I have been sick with Mono, Brynlee was bit by a mosquito and had an allergic reaction with her eye swelling and now Travis is sick.  Between all of this we have managed to run errands, go to gymnastics classes and a 5 Day vacation to New Braunfels.  I am hoping for a slower July and to stay out of doctor's offices.

In the meantime at Bryleigh's 18 Month Check-up she weighed 29 pounds, 9 ounces and was 34 1/ 4 inches tall.  She also had her check-up at her ENT and he said her ears/tubes are still looking great!  She is quite funny at this stage.  She is learning new vocabulary everyday and loves Disney Princesses just like her sister.  Her red hair is finally growing, maybe by Christmas we will have a ponytail! Haha! Both of the girls like to dress up in any Disney princess gown, but Bryleigh always wants to have her earrings and crown on too!

The girls just recently finished their Just 4 Flips Gymnastics classes at the Roanoke Rec Center.  This is the second class for Brynlee and she really likes it.  She has improved on walking the balance beam, doing front rolls with no hands, the flamingo, bridges, etc.  I can tell her coordination and agility has improved, if we could only work on her listening skills.  This was the first time for Bryleigh to take the class and she literally smiled and laughed throughout each class.  Despite being the youngest in her class, she was able to complete each skill or task, and climbing and jumping was by far her favorite!  Bubble time occurred at the end of each class and Bryleigh loved trying to catch them while Brynlee tried to hit them "like a volleyball" she said.

Below are pictures from the last several weeks and our fun-filled days!
