July Happenings

July was a fun month for us. We celebrated the 4th of July with a family wedding, where the girls had a blast showing off their dance skills.  Then we spent the weekend celebrating all of the July birthdays with family.  The girls also had their first adventure with a slip-n-slide!

 

 

We managed to also visit the Fort Worth Museum and the girls love the Children's Museum section!  They were able to shop for groceries, play doctor and pretend they are like their daddy with their construction gear on.  They managed to ride horses and Bryleigh's favorite part was seeing the cows!  She is obsessed with them and just wanted to pet them!

The girls also found time to play in the crib.  Bryleigh is now in her big girl twin bed (see pictures to come of the new room).  As we began to re-decorate her room, the girls were a little sad to see the crib go so they made the most of it by stocking it full of toys. 

 

The girls and I were able to do some fun activities at our church this month.  We went to Urban Air Trampoline Park in Southlake and they had a blast!  We also had our Vacation Bible School and Brynlee had a great time!  She especially loved the petting zoo the last night.  I didn't get too many pictures because I was helping in the classrooms.

 

Finally, we rounded out our time with swimming lessons.  This was Brynlee's second year to do it and she seemed to enjoy it so much more, mainly to Ms. Lyndsey as her teacher.  This was Bryleigh's first go-around and she had mixed emotions.  She did the parent-tot with Travis and some days of course were better than others! 

 

All in all a fun-filled month of July!
