Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a very special time in the Hamby House and we definitely enjoyed it this year.  Brynlee is just old enough to enjoy almost every aspect, while even though Bryleigh is a little young, she still enjoyed opening or tearing at presents and climbing on all of the boxes.  Brynlee was fixated on Santa this year, very concerned about having carrots for his reindeer and knowing that he would only come when she was sleeping, she reluctantly went to bed.  When morning came, she was pumped up!  The girls must have been really good because Santa brought Brynlee a Strawberry Shortcake Bike and a Baby All Gone and Bryleigh received a baby crib and her 1st Cabbage Patch Baby.  It's so exciting to watch the enjoyment in their eyes and its always fun to hear Brynlee say "It's just what I have always wanted!".

On Christmas Eve, we made a stop at Gramma and Grampa's and had our Christmas with Brad, Jennifer, Chase and Britton.  The girls had a blast playing with their cousins and opening up their new toys and clothing, but especially loved their new kitchen!

Next stop Christmas Eve night was at Memaw Hamby's house.  It was a little bittersweet this year, as Papaw passed away on December 18th and it just wasn't the same with out him.  Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures, because with that many people there, it gets a little crazy and wild!  On Sunday before Christmas Eve, we also had Christmas with the Redmonds (however, I forgot my camera) so I didn't get any pictures of the new books and toys and fun had there with Travis's other side of the family.

Then on Christmas Day, mid-morning, we all went to Mama and Papa's house for the Meadows' side.  As always it is so great spending time with family at the holidays, but this year it was unique as we had 6 little great-grandchildren (ages 3 to 4 1/2 months) running and playing around.  The girls loved their new doll and Barbie and we of course loved our gifts!

I like this picture, as it seems Bryleigh and Eva are in their own deep conversation!

We had lots of fun at our many Christmas gatherings this year and are very thankful for the family we were able to spend time with!  Thanks to all for our many presents, the girls are getting great use out of them!  I hope each of you had a very Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!
